Frequently Asked Questions
How can I improve the quality of my prints?
- PAPER: Use high quality inkjet paper. Ink tends to "sit on top" of higher quality paper, resulting in a brighter, sharper print. Lower quality paper absorbs the ink, resulting in less color brilliance. In general, higher quality papers will be of a heavier weight (24-50lbs) and have a higher brightness rating (89-99) than a lesser quality paper. Using a higher quality paper will help to achieve best results from your DayGlo inkjet cartridge. DayGlo offers a line of papers available at www.dayglo.com that have been formulated and tested to enhance the performance of DayGlo inkjet cartridges.
- PRINTER SETTINGS: Change the settings in the printer menu to match the type of paper loaded in the printer. This will ensure that your printer is using the appropriate amount of ink. Also, make sure that you increae the DPI (dots per inch) setting on your printer for sharper, higher-resolution prints. Higher DPI settings will enhance print quality by printing more ink droplets within a certain area.
- CARTRIDGES: DayGlo black and color cartridges work best when used together as they offer the highest contrast of color available in the inkjet market.
