Frequently Asked Questions
What if the cartridge will not work in the printer or if your computer registers an installation error?
All DayGlo cartridges have been tested to ensure that they will work in your printer. In the event you have a problem installing your cartridge, please check the following:
- Problem: The tape covering the print head is still on the cartridge and has not been removed.
Solution: Ensure the tape has been removed from the cartridge.
- Problem: The printer may need to be turned off and on before the cartridge is installed.
Solution: Turn the printer off and then back on before installing cartridge.
- Problem: The contacts on the cartridge or printer may have dirt or debris on them.
Solution: Please refer to your printer's manual for instructions on cleaning the contacts.
- Problem: A clip on the cartridge is preventing the circuitry from contacting.
Solution: Remove the clip from the cartridge by pulling the clip away from the cartridge
