Should I save the clip/cap attached to my cartridge?
Yes, the clips used to package your cartridge can be used to prevent the cartridge print head from drying out while not in use. Please follow these instruction on how to position the cap on your cartridge:
- HP: Place the cartridge on the pad of the clip. Push up on and forward on the clip until the clip snaps into place.
- Canon: Replace the cap included with your print cartridge on the bottom of the cartridge.
- Epson: Epson cartridges are only removable from your printer when they are out of ink.
