What is fluorescent color?
Fluorescent colors are uniquely bight, clean materials which can be much brighter than conventional colors. These very bright colors go by the name of DayGlo colors or Neon colors. When you see a very bright color such as traffic cones, detergent bottles, etc. you are seeing fluorescent color. Advantages of fluorescent (DayGlo) colors are their brightness under many different conditions, such as indoor lighting, low light conditions outdoors and limited visibility areas, and studies have shown that Day-Glo colors are noticed first. They grab the attention of the observer. Fluorescent colors are widely used to "get attention," focus attention on an object, warn people of a potentially dangerous situation, get an object, person or situation noticed, etc. When you need something noticed, used DayGlo colors to really make an impression-they are the brightest colors in the world!
